Poland - List of Champions

Prior to the first national club championship organised in 1920 (which was abandoned due to the Soviet War), several regional tournaments were organised.
The first ever match between teams from different cities took place in 1894, at the occasion of the "Second Gymnastic Society 'Sokol' Rally" held in Lwów (now Lviv in Ukraine), when the local Sokół team defeated their namesakes from Kraków 1-0 thanks to a sixth minute goal by Włodzimierz Chomicki.
