S.S.B. Competition The S.S.B. (Surinaamsche Sport Bond), founded December 1918, invited four clubs to play a league competition (as a double round robin) to prepare for the intended visit of a football team from British Guiana in the spring of 1919. It was abandoned just before the halfway stage, apparently as it transpired the visit from Georgetown was cancelled.
