Surinam 1919

S.S.B. Competition

The S.S.B. (Surinaamsche Sport Bond), founded December 1918, invited
four clubs to play a league competition (as a double round robin) to
prepare for the intended visit of a football team from British Guiana
in the spring of 1919. It was abandoned just before the halfway stage,
apparently as it transpired the visit from Georgetown was cancelled.
