Sixth Coupe de la Ligue Nationale de Football [Jun 17 - Oct 31]
NB: after the pools had started, the minister of Sports insisted
that AS Vita Vlub and SM Sanga Balende should also been included
in the national championship; to this purpose, an extra 'qualificative
phase' was created for which TP Mazembe (LINAFOOT defending
champions) and DC Motema Pembe (Kinshasa league champions) qualify
automatically, while Vita Club and Sanga Balende take their places
in the first, 'Intra-Pools' stage.
Later this decision was apparently revoked as matches restarted
with DCMP and Mazembe playing rather than Vita and Sanga Balende.

[the match was originally scheduled for Oct 14, but DCMP had asked for it
to be postponed (without sending Lupopo a copy of the request); LINAFOOT
(national league) granted the postponement but sent match officials to
Lubumbashi for the match on Oct 14, who then noted that DCMP did not show;
LINAFOOT set a new date of Oct 18 but were overruled by the Fécofa (national
FA), who disqualified DCMP based on the reports (i.e. DCMP not showing) of
the match officials of LINAFOOT in spite of the latter organisation having
granted a postponement; Fécofa suspended the LINAFOOT organisation committee
upon which the vice-president of LINAFOOT has appealed to the sports minister]
