On Mar 29, 1893, a North Wales League was formed in Rhyl with eight member clubs:
Bangor, Lladudno Swifts, St. Asaph, Rhyl, Holywell, Bagillt, Flint and Connah's Quay.

Shropshire and District League 1892/93

NB: the Shropshire and District League started in the 1890/91 season;
    Newtown, who had declined to entered the Welsh Senior League in that
      same season due to travelling difficulties, entered the league for
      the first time in the 1892/93 season and won it as newcomers.
