Notes: The Soviet Union team was described as "USSR assembled clubs" or "USSR league selection",
 although this is simply a vague label indicating that the team was in some way substandard.
 Only five of their players were part of the 1986 World Cup squad (Bal, Yevtushenko, Belanov,
 Rats, and Krakovskiy). The full national team played a friendly match vs Spain in Las Palmas
 on 22-1-86.
       The Peru team was virtually a youth team, reinforced with some older players, most
 notably Franco Navarro. However the games vs India and China are still considered full 
 internationals for Peru by some (but not all) Peruvian sources.
