Luxembourg - Challenge Steinès

Post-season competition for an "objet d'art" provided by Alphonse Steinès, a Luxembourg editor at the French sports magazine L'Auto best known for his successful efforts to convince Henri Desgrange to include the mountain passes in the Alps and Pyrenees in the Tour de France.

The tournament was restricted to F.S.L.S.A. member clubs; players active in the tournament were to be either Luxembourg nationals or resident in the country for at least six months.
The first club to win the challenge three times obtained permanent possession of the trophy.
