KFF are to introduce a national women league, starting date not fixed
Jamhuri Cup 2006 [Dec 9,10]
24 clubs from Kenya, 1 from Uganda (UB Ladies Club from Kampala)
and 1 from Tanzania (KIFA Ladies Club of Dar es Salaam) have
confirmed their participation. Mombasa clubs which have already
confirmed their participation are Shimanzi Ladies, All Saints (Likoni),
Kisauni Youth, Boca Juniors, Coastal Queens (Changamwe), Changamwe
Ladies Club, Bilima, Mwakirunge (Kisauni) and Soliwodi (Mombasa Island);
teams from Nairobi are Makolanders, Minicuss, Dandora, Carolina,
Mbotela Kamaliza, True Kala, Dagoretti Sisters and WYSA Ladies; from
Nyanza are Kisumu Smart Ladies, Kisumu Railways and Galastico.
New Generation, Young Generation and Moving the Goalpost (MTG),
all from Kilifi, Tumaini and Junior Shining Stars from Kanamai,
Furaha Girls of Mtwapa and Kitale's Wuyeta have also confirmed
their participation.
