Barbados Division 1 champion 1969: New South Wales Barbados Division 2 champion 1969: New South Wales Barbados Division 3 champion 1969: Notre Dame Barbados Division 4 champion 1969: University of the West Indies Barbados knock-out cup final 1969: 26-Apr-69 New South Wales 0-0 Notre Dame at Kensington Oval The match was abandoned by the referee early in the second half due to a brawl involving players and spectators, the Notre Dame team having reportedly refused to return to the field following an incident in which Noel Pilgrim of Notre Dame had suffered a broken leg. In the first half Kenrick Hall (also Notre Dame) had suffered a broken ankle. The Barbados FA council later (in July 1969) decided to award the cup to New South Wales, to reprimand Notre Dame's players for their conduct, and to withhold the share of the gate receipts that Notre Dame would have received.
