Albania - List of Champions

Reportedly the first football was brought to Albania in 1908 by Br. Gut Ruter in Shkodër, when Albania was still part of the Ottoman Empire. A team is said to have been founded in Korçë on 15 April 1909 but its name is not known.
Finally, a tournament was organised in Fier in 1911, at the occasion of a local fair, as a knock-out competition involving 8 city selections; it was won by Tiranë.
