A similar event was held twice on Bonaire, in 2015 and 2017, although the reigning champions of Curaçao never entered that tournament.
In 2018, the first edition of another tournament named Kopa ABC was organised, in an attempt to revive the Kopa Antiano (championship of the Dutch Antilles) last held in 2010.
