Port Vila League (PVFL) 2000 Known results [Mar ?] North Efate U. 3-2 Siaraga Golden Star 1-0 Tupuji Imere Champions: Tafea FC Vanuatu Football Federation Championship winners: Tafea FC NB: there are 6 provincial leagues and 2 municipal leagues across the country, as well as three national cup tournaments (Independence Cup, Mitsubishi Cup, Championship Cup); Tafea won all tournaments they played. By the end of the 2000 season, they have won the PVFL 7 times in a row, 5 Independence Cups, 4 Opening Cups, 4 Closing Cups and 5 consecutive Mitsubishi Cups (1996-2000), and 6 other 'major trophies'.
