UEFA Nations League

The first edition had 12 countries in League A and League B, 15 in League C and 16 in League D, seeded according to UEFA coefficients as of October 2017.
After Germany had been relegated from League A in the first edition, UEFA decided to rearrange the leagues, extending Leagues A, B and C to 16 countries each, thus leaving only 7 in League D.
