[*] The İzmir clubs seperated after one season. In order to avoid conflict with
political authorities, they did not reassume their former names. Altınordu
played under the name Üçok, while Altay participated under the name Alsancak.

[*] Fenerbahçe wanted to play their home games at their own stadium, which was
denied by the Turkish Football Federation. The club claimed that their travel
costs were not paid appropriately by the TFF and withdrew from the league after
the fourth matchday. The clubs yet to play against Fenerbahçe were awarded three
points and three goals. While a loss was awarded with a point in those years,
there were no points for awarded (forfeit) losses.
