The lineup for the first match was: Ham Heung-Chul; Cho Nam-Soo, Kim Hong-Bok; Son Myung-Sup, Kim Chan-Ki, Yoo Gwang-Joon; Woo Sang-Kwon, Cha Tae-Sung, Choi Jung-Min, Cho Yoon-Ok, Lee Soon-Myung. South Vietnam The squad reportedly included 12 players with national team experience.
