NB: Excelsior and Transvaal were relegated because of their withdrawals,
    but readmitted in Apr 1927 on the suggestion of champions Ajax;
    Ajax were handed the cup as winners Eerste Klasse on Apr 18, 1927;
    the next league season did not start until Apr 8, 1928.

Champions: Go-Ahead (unbeaten); they were promoted directly to Eerste Klasse, no
           playoff against the bottom side of Eerste Klasse was held, apparently
           because of the forced relegation of Excelsior and Transvaal, which was
           revoked before the start of the next season on Apr 8, 1928, by which 
           time Nimrod, Rood-Wit and Saturnus had all withdrawn from the S.V.B.
