National club championship (summer 1975) Note: this was introduced to determine a national champion club to represent Sierra Leone in the African Champions' Cup in 1976. The runner-up would represent Sierra Leone in the African Cup Winners' Cup. Six participant clubs were announced: Kakuma, Massianday and Mammy Yoko (from the Western Area), and Bai Bureh (Northern Province), Hotagua (Southern Province) and Kailondo (Eastern Province). Most of these were conglomerates (combined from several established clubs), newly-formed just for this competition. The championship was won by Mammy Yoko, and the runner-up was Massianday. However, ultimately neither team was able to take part in continental competition, because SLAFA did not meet CAF's deadlines for submission of the required paperwork and entrance fees.
