West Highland Amateur Football Association/Skye and Lochalsh Amateur Football Association

The West Highland League was formed in 1986, uniting island (Skye) and mainland
(Lochalsh and Lochaber districts) clubs, with the winners lifting the Bagshaw Cup,
a trophy dating back to at least 1950, and used before to honour the champions of
the South West Ross Football Association, which was dissolved in the seventies
when Skye clubs formed a separate league.
Between 2005 and 2023, the West Highland Amateur Football Association was known
as the Skye and Lochalsh Amateur Football Association.

Port Charlotte and Port Ellen) but after Wanderers withdrew from the league in 2015 only
three clubs (Bowmore, Kilchoman and Port Ellen) were left.
