Held at irregular intervals and various cities in Pakistan. It is not clear whether any tournaments were organised after 1987.
1976 Guangdong 1982 Iran 1985 North Korea XI 1986 China 1987 Syria
Held at the HCP (Hockey Club of Pakistan) Stadium in Karachi to commemorate the centenary of the birth of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the first leader of Pakistan, known as "Quaid-e-Azam" (Great Leader).
Originally, the tournament was planned to commence on 22nd October and to consist of two groups of three teams: China, Afghanistan, and Pakistan Greens (the national A team) would be in Group A, while Malaysia, Mauritius, and Pakistan Reds (the B team) would be in Group B. However, in early October the tournament was suddenly brought forward to begin on 12th October. Malaysia (scheduled to arrive on the 18th) and Mauritius (19th) could not change their travel plans at such late notice, so during the first few days of the tournament only Group A was played. On 16th October the P.F.F. announced that the tournament would comprise only Group A, that Malaysia had withdrawn, and that Mauritius would play only exhibition matches vs Pakistan and China. On 20th October it was announced that Mauritius had cancelled its visit. The Chinese team departed on 21st October.
