Notes: the Brazilian team was reported in Indonesian and Malaysian news sources as
 a Rio de Janeiro selection, consisting of the América FC squad strengthened by a
 few guest players from other Rio de Janeiro clubs (however, Brazilian sources include
 the matches in the list of results of América FC, and as all the named goal-scorers
 played for that club, it could be that there were no guest players). The Malaysian team
 was the Malaysian Tigers squad (a developmental team of young players), supplemented with
 three fringe players from the senior national squad. The identity of the Singaporean team
 is unclear, but it was not the full national team.

Semifinals
17- 8 Indonesia A   w/o Romania U-18
  [Romania withdrew at 2-1 in extra time in protest to refereeing;
   the match was awarded to Indonesia. The score of the walkover was reported as 3-0

 Algeria played a full international (not connected to this tournament) in Kuala Lumpur,
 against the Malaysian senior national team:

        [Kuala Lumpur, Merdeka Stadium]
        [Wong Hung Nung 38', Dollah Salleh 59' / Nacer Bouiche 4', Nourredine Negazi 87']
