National U-13 Football Championship

Lahore, Feb 11-18

Participants (8): Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, NWFP, Azad Kashmir,
                  FATA, Northern Areas, Islamabad

Tournament abandoned before the final stage after numerous protests
by clubs against opponents fielding over-aged players. After 28
players, mostly from Islamabad and Sindh, had been expelled after
failing 'facial tests', the organisation eventually decided on
wrist x-Ray tests, which only 46 from 160 players passed, with all
teams being guilty of having selected over-aged players.

The 46 'eligible' players remained for two practice days in
order to compose a team for the AFC U-13 Championship in Dhaka
in April 2005.
