New Zealand 2004

The 2004 champion was to be found in the following manner: 
2003 National League clubs (labeled n) demoted to regional leagues.
At the end of the season, champions of the regional leagues were to
play-off to determine the New Zealand Club Champion for 2004.


New Zealand Club Championship Finals:

In Wellington, September 2004, involving regional league winners.

However, with the start of the new franchise based league looming
and the high costs involved in organising a tournament of this nature
it was decided to cancel New Zealand Club Championship Finals 2004.

Had it gone ahead, it would have involved Central United and likely the 
winners of the following match-ups: Napier City Rovers v Miramar Rangers
and Nelson Suburbs v Caversham.
