Early Football Tournaments

The first ever football tournament in Nepal was organised in 1934,
and won by Jawalakheel Club; in total 12 teams entered.  Several
others were organised until the introduction of the Ram Janaki
Football Tournament below but only the following data are known:

established in 1947/48 (2004 BS) by then prime minister Padam Shamsher;
