Aaha Rara Gold Cup (Pokhara)

Annual international tournament organised by Sahara Club from Pokhara, which runs a football academy for under-privileged children, which benefits from the profits of the event.
The first edition was held in 2003, but in 2022 the 2002 Caravan Cup held along the same lines was included in the series as well.
Participants from abroad may be regular clubs (e.g. Paro FC in 2024), ad hoc combinations (e.g. Black Bulls FC from Uzbekistan in 2025), teams representing the Nepalese diaspora (e.g. Brigade Boys Club UK in 2025) or teams formed from foreigners playing in Nepal (e.g. African Roots Association in 2021). For additional information please refer to the individual tournaments.
All matches played at Pokhara stadium (Pokhara Rangasala).
