L’Amicale Francaise–México awarded match to L’Amicale Francaise
NB: According to “The Mexican Herald” on Jan. 19, 1914, Club México did not show up
and the match was awarded to L’Amicale Française; however in other note published
on Jan. 12 in the same paper, it was announced that the match would be in the
ground of french team; however, in the final table presented by the paper on
Jan. 22 the numbers consigned there can only be coincident if the result is taken
as inverse.
Waiting for more information, we have chosen to ignore this particular data from the
final table presented by “The Mexican Herald”, specially since it would not make
sense to have awarded the match to Club México if the match would be played in the
ground of L’Amicale Française.
