1981 Lahti Cup (Lahti, Finland)

Played at the Lahden Suurhalli, an indoor arena containing a 
full-size football pitch.

Lahti XI consisted of players from the clubs Reipas and Kuusysi.

Semifinals
28- 2-81 Sweden   4-2 Norway XI  (*)
28- 2-81 Finland  4-1 Lahti XI 

Third place
 1- 3-81 Lahti XI 2-1 Norway XI 

Final
 1- 3-81 Finland  2-1 Sweden     (+)

*: official full international for Sweden but not for Norway
+: official full international for both Finland and Sweden.

The Lahti Cup has been played annually since 1981, but this was 
the only edition to feature national teams; all participants 
since have been club teams.  Since 1999 the tournament has
been named Uusi Lahti Cup, after a local newspaper.
