NB: this was the first season in which the Dawr Al-Nadi wa Muassasat,
    the League of Clubs and Institutions, included teams from outside
    Baghdad; it was also the last season the league was played, as it
    was replaced by a club-based structure; for more details see the
    notes on the changes of August 1974.

Name change before season:
Fareeka Al-Thalatha (Third Battalion) were renamed Salah-Al-Deen.

who played in the 1974/75 first national club league.
