Division I is the “top” division, ie the single division League of Ireland between 1921 and 1985 and the Premier Division since 1985. Division II is the second highest division, ie Division One since 1985.
Ireland changed from Autumn-Spring season, to Spring-Autumn season in 2003. Hence the 2002-03 season and 2003 season both ended in 2003.
