Medan Trip of Gloucestershire Regiment (Singapore) 1931

The football team of the 28th Gloucestershire Regiment had already provided the majority of the Combined Services side which had taken part in the jubilee celebrations of T.H.O.R. in Soerabaja. After a brief return home to play their domestic cup final (lost 3-4 against league champions Malay FA on September 25th) fifteen of their players returned to the Dutch East Indies to play four matches in Medan.
