Contested between 1922 and 1940 on 11 occasions between Romania and Yugoslavia. In fact there were two different cups: the King Alexander's Cup played between 1922 and 1930 and the King Carol Cup (called King Mihai Cup in 1940), played between 1937 and 1940. In 1937/38 a Eduard Benes' Cup (also known as Neighbour Countries' Cup or Cupa Tarilor Vecine) was held which additionally included Czechoslovakia. The 1940 match also counted for the Danube Cup which included Hungary (in addition to Romania and Yugoslavia).
