Final [Nadi (neutral ground)]
Ba 0-0 Rewa
Final Replay (scheduled for Rewa]
Rewa n/p Ba
Rewa awarded a walkover
NB: The Fiji Football Association announced that the replay would be
played on Rewa's home ground. Enraged Ba officials immediately
announced their team would boycott it.
They were true to their heated words and Rewa had to go through the
motions of lining up on the pitch in front of 1500 fans and wait for
the referee to award them the game through Ba's non-appearance. It was
a most unsatisfactory way for Rewa to win their first major honour
since 1955.
