NB: LIFEFES was formed in June 2001 as merger from CAFUTFES (Clubes de Fútbol 
    Femenino de El Salvador) and LIFES (Liga Independiente de Fútbol Femenino)

17 participants from Chalatenango, La Paz, San Vicente, Sonsonate, 
San Salvador and Santa Ana, divided into two groups of 9 and 8 clubs
