Danubio were a strong Venezuelan team in the 1950s.
They had Venezuelan players and foreigners from Austria, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Bulgaria, West Germany. This was the main reason why their team name was Danubio, which referred to the Danube river in Central Europe. Tibor Pivko (president), A.
