The tournament was initially scheduled to be played in Nicaragua.

After six matches, CONCACAF decided to suspend the tournament due to security problems 
caused by serious civil protests.

On May 11, CONCACAF decided that the remaining matches would be played in Brandenton-USA, 
from 6 to 12 June.
