24- 6-1935 Sofia          Romania        2-2 Greece

Ranking at end of tournament:

 1.Yugoslavia         3  2  1  0  11- 4   5  [goal average 2.75]

 4.Romania            3  0  1  2   2- 8   1  [goal average 0.25]

NB: at the end of the tournament, Yugoslavia were declared winners because of their
    better goal average (the standard tie-breaker at the time) and were handed the
    trophy; Bulgaria protested, stating that if the match between Yugoslavia and
    Romania had finished regularly, the former's goal record might have changed;
    they suggested to play an additional match for the title and the trophy; after
    ten months, the Balkan Cup committee ruled such a match should indeed be played,
    because the protocols and documents setting down the regulations for the 1935
    edition could not be found; Yugoslavia declined to play such a match, stating
    they were no longer interested, and, as announced by Octav Luchide (a Romanian
    secretary of the Balkan Cup committee), sent the trophy back in May 1936, ten
    days before the start of the 1936 edition, played without Yugoslavia; Bulgaria,
    as official 1935 winners, thus brought the trophy (which changed hands to the
    winners of every new edition) to Romania.
