The WNSL has been replaced by an 'interim' competition for
2005.  The teams in each pool play each other once with the
top two advancing to the semi-finals.  NSW Sapphires have entered
two teams, designated 'Blue' and 'White'.

SEASON MILESTONES
The NSW Sapphires White game against Northern NSW Pride on 2 October was the 100th game played by
NSW sides in WNSL history.  Queensland Sting's semi-final against NSW Sapphires White was that
State's 100th match.
Ellie Brush's second goal in the 7th-8th playoff was the 1,000th goal in WNSL history.
