Asian Games 1954


Manila, 1-8 May 1954.

Matches were played over 80 minutes (2x40) and held at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex,
in two stadiums: the Rizal Memorial Track and Football Stadium and the Rizal Memorial
Baseball Stadium; however, following protest by the participating teams, the Baseball
Stadium was not used for football matches.

Note: The Asian Football Confederation was formed during a meeting of football delegates 
      at the Asian Games in Manila, on the 7th May 1954.
