Organised by OSMA (Organisation du Sport Militaire en Afrique), member of the CISM. Called CAMFOOT (Coupe d'Afrique de Football Militaire).

Qualifiying for World Military Games.

The 2002 African Military Cup, organised by the CISM, is not related to this tournament.
