Reaching the semifinal yields one bonus point, reaching the final an additional bonus point (for a maximum of 26 points, that would be 8 wins and 2 bonus points). Points are summed countrywise and divided by the number of teams reaching the second round (so countries are not punished for having a team eliminated in the first round).
