[1] The international friendly match recognized by FIFA was in honor of the former player
    and now President of Liberia George Weah, who withdrew his famous shirt number 14,
    always used in the Team. Another player already retired, James Debbah, also participated
    in the match.

In addition to Liberia, Weah also played four times for the FIFA XI Team between 1991
and 1998, with two goals scored; one of these was in his last performance, in a 6-2 loss
to Italy.
