It is worth to say that the 1974 season was played in two stages: in the first stage the 22 teams played home and away matches for a total of 42 rounds; then the top 6 qualified for a playoff round of 5 matches played in Lima. As Universitario is from Lima, we consider the playoff matches as "home" matches.
A final remark: in the match where this series was broken, Universitario played with its reserve team as the championship had been won in the previous match.
