Apart from playing for two different national football teams, Karel Koželuh also was an outstanding athlete in ice hockey (he won the 1925 European championhip with Czechoslovakia, scoring the winning goal in the final match against Switzerland) and tennis (winning the world professional tennis title in 1925, the French Professional Singles title on 7 occasions and the US Pro Singles title on 3 occasions).
