Some stadiums has more than one name: one name in honour of a person and another referring to the district in the city where it is located, usually as a nickname (in particular in Brazil); in some cities there is a stadium for each club, which is then indicated between brackets in most cases.
This list does not include the matches played since 1998 in preliminary rounds between Mexican and Venezolan clubs.
