This file provides an overview of matches played by Asian countries which are not recognised as "full A international match" by either AFC or FIFA; however, these two entities respect the decisions of each FA to make a particular match official or not, and therefore some matches may be recognised as full A by each FA.
The AFC has 47 member associations divided over five subregions; in alphabetical order:
Countrywise, a list of matches is given in chronological order, with additional explanations wherever deemed necessary. It should be kept in mind that the various FAs have different rules on acknowledging matches as official, meaning matches may be official for one of the countries and not the other. All matches friendlies unless stated otherwise.
Note that the number of substitutes that can be used in a football match may vary depending on the competition:
Please note this overview is work in progress. Similar files are planned for other confederations.

22- 3-1982 Abu Dhabi Iraq 0-3 Gulf Cup annulled
[Iraq played already their games in that tournament, and they had a big chance to keep their title,
but before the final round which they will face Kuwait, they withdrew due political order from the
former president Saddam Hussain, he said that he wants to give the title to Kuwait due to its
political position with him during the Iran-Iraq war at that time, and in support of Kuwait before
its participation in the World Cup 1982, so the organizing committee of the tournament decided to
cross out all the results of Iraq as if they had not been, and accordingly this match is considered
annulled]
24- 3-1985 Riffa Lebanon 6-0
[The match was abandoned at 85'. Four Lebanon players had left the field in protest, and with only
seven players, they conceded an own goal after which their goalkeeper claimed to be injured. Lebanon
had already threatened to abandon the match at half-time after disputing a penalty decision, but
following a 20 minute delay and with the intervention of Bahrain FA officials, they were persuaded
to continue.

5 matches, this one v Bahrain and four WCQ which were subsequently annulled and not recognized by
any FAs]

the Swedish side included only two players, Håkan Arvidsson and Anders Grönhagen, who had played in
Sweden's last international against Czechoslovakia on October 4, 1978; this Swedish league XU toured

considered as internationals by the Iraq FA.
Iraq played already their games in that tournament, and they had a big chance to keep their title,
but before the final round which they will face Kuwait, they withdrew due political order from the
former president Saddam Hussain, he said that he wants to give the title to Kuwait due to its
